Welcome to our library’s digital space! Use the search bar above to search the library’s collection of books. Our site is more than just a catalogue though. It’s a portal dedicated to your reading and information needs at HPJH. Take a look around. There’s a lot to explore. Thanks for Visiting!
So you want something to read, eh?
This site can help you find options to read online AND hardcopy books that are in our HPJH library collection for you to borrow.
How do I find the books I can hold in my hand? The search bar at the top lets you search our library collection (see “Tips for searching our school library catalogue” below for help). If you scroll down you’ll see there are also horizontal strips of book covers featuring books that are recently viewed, popular or new. Your login to reserve a book is your 10 digit student id number and then your name as the password. I’ll get an alert and set the book aside for you when it is available. You can also use this login to look at your current borrowed items. Contact me (Ms. Makmillen) if you want your password changed. | How do I find stuff to read online? The word “stuff” is used here because online reading options include eBooks, audiobooks and other online content. If you are reading you are READing – doesn’t matter if it’s a website or a more traditional book. A section below “The HRCE Reads Online” will link you to a few large, online collections of ebooks and audiobooks. There are also more possibilities across this site. |
